The New Braunfels Dia de Los Muertos Festival, 501(c)(3) is proud to present its 10th Annual Dia de Los Muertos Festival in Downtown New Braunfels, TX, on October 17, 2026 from 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM.
Dia de Los Muertos is a holiday observance to honor, remember, and celebrate the lives of our deceased loved ones. This year we are expecting an attendance of over 7,000+ to celebrate tradition and cultural heritage.

What to Expect This Year
Cultural Preservation ThroughCommunity & Education
The New Braunfels Dia de Los Muertos Festival is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. Our mission is to preserve and promote the cultural heritage and traditions of Dia de Los Muertos through educational and community-based programming that fosters cultural understanding, remembrance, and community connection.
We support cultural preservation, provide educational opportunities and scholarships for local high school students, and promote economic empowerment by supporting local small businesses and community engagement.
The goals of the festival are to attract locals and tourists to Downtown New Braunfels and support the Dia de Los Muertos mission and initiatives.

Dia de Los Muertos is a holiday observance to honor, remember, and celebrate the lives of our deceased loved ones. This year we are expecting an attendance of over 7,000+ to celebrate tradition and cultural heritage.

Registration deadline is August 31, 2026. Booth fee is due in full with your application.

- Booth fee is due in full with your application — vendors will not be allowed to set up unless paid in full.
- A $100 late fee applies to applications submitted on or after September 1, 2026.
- Add $100 for a prime/specific location request.
- Food vendors are responsible for their own Temporary Food Permit and collecting/remitting 8.25% TX sales tax.
- Heating elements or open-flame devices (pit smokers, corn roasters, etc.) require an additional 10x10 ft. space for fire-code clearance.
